The TACOM Contracting Center, Rock Island, Illinois, intends to award a sole source contract to Leupold & Stevens, Inc., 14400 NW Greenbrier Parkway, Beaverton, Oregon, 97006-5791 a 3 year firm fixed price services contract to repair and or upgrade a quantity of 5990 each M151 spotting scope NSN: 6650-01-504-8456, PN: 53756, 60mm w/Mil Dot Reticle. The M151 Spotting Scope is a tripod mounted multi-mission 12 to 40 power daylight Commercial-Off-The Shelf/Non-Developmental Item (COTS/NDI) telescope currently manufactured by Leupold & Stevens for use by military forward observers, military gunners, and hunters. The contractor will be responsible for the service, repair, and or upgrade of 5990 scopes. The contractor will also be responsible for testing each unit and all lens coatings for night vision equipment compatibility and functionality. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide this capability within fifteen (15) calendar days of this publication.
