The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco, GA has a need for 12 Gauge shotshell, Reduced Recoil, Reduced Hazard Training Ammunition (RHTA), lead-free projectiles, strictly for training purposes. Ammunition bid on this RFQ shall conform to the attached solicitation specifications and requirements. This is a one-time purchase to cover needs until a shotshell IDIQ solicitation is released in the near future. Products covered by this RFQ are rifled slug, #00 buckshot 8 pellet, and #00 buckshot 9 pellet. The ammunition and all of the component parts to include primer shall be free of the eight Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) monitored metals known as the RCRA 8 further identified in the Section C paragraph 1.5 of this RFQ. This is an unrestricted requirement. Bid samples are required for testing for those vendors who have not submitted 12 gauge products for testing and received approval from FLETC on those products in the past 12 months. Submission requirements are stated in Section L of this this RFQ. Date for receipt of bid is June 28, 2016 2:30pm.
