Bid Requirements Material bids should meet the below specifications: Please see attachments for assembly and insulator drawings as well as minimum insulator ratings. New assemblies need to be within described weight and length requirements shown in drawings. Suspension insulator assembly length: 57.75±1.615 inches. Dead-end insulator assembly length: 84±1.89 inches. Required for suspension insulators: insulator (wye-socket) and socket-wye clevis. Required for dead-end insulators: insulator (wye-ball) and DE extension link wye clevis–eye. Additional Information: Qty: 126 steel poles requiring suspension insulators - 3 per pole. Bid to include 36 spare insulators and parts for a total of 414 suspension insulators. Qty: 46 steel poles requiring dead-end insulators - 6 per pole. Bid to include 36 spare insulators and parts for a total of 312 dead-end insulators. Only insulators and attachment fittings are being replaced not the clamps onto line. Materials to be delivered to the District’s storage area located at 9262 Coyote Trail Rd, Newport, Washington. Shipping MUST be flatbed and side load only. Call for Bid Requirements Bid must include a bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the maximum bid price. Bid to include Washington State Sales Tax (WSST). Each bid must be accompanied by the completed bid proposal form including lead-times.
