THIS NOTICE IS HEREBY REVISED TO REFLECT THAT THIS IS A SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION UNDER FAR PART 13, AND CORRECTS THE ITEMS BEING PROCURED.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, with General Dynamics Mission Systems, CAGE 04655, 150 Rustcraft Road, Dedham, MA 02026.

The procurement is for two each:

P/N 10G-SMLTO-2 TACLANE - 10G Cyber Capable Encryptor Bundle - Single Mode

These items are the only ones approved/certified by the National Security Agency for the intended use.
The Government does not possess the technical data to manufacture the required hardware. The Government does not possess the technical data that would be required for an alternate source to manufacture these units.
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses shall be made in writing by e-mail to the attention of Barbara Petrzilka, [email protected]
