NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF SEAGOVILLE DEMOLITION OF 101 N KAUFMAN Notice is hereby given that the City of Seagoville is now calling for bids for the construction of the DEMOLITION OF 101 N KAUFMAN. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked “SEALED BID – DEMOLITION OF 101 N KAUFMAN” and submitted to the City of Seagoville, 702 N. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159, prior to 3:00 PM, CDST, September 13, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The City of Seagoville reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. This project includes the selective demolition of an existing steel-framed building on a concrete slab with aluminum and glass storefront walls. A new CMU wall on a concrete foundation to support adjacent building electrical gear is also included in this contract. Contract Documents may be examined or purchased at the offices of Halff Associates, Inc., at the following address: Halff Associates, Inc. 1201 North Bowser Road. Richardson, Texas 75081 The cost for Contract Documents is $10.00 per half-size set. The cost of Contract Documents is not refunded. Submit check, cashier check or money order for payment. Cash will not be accepted. Electronic documents in .pdf format can be obtained at no cost. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for the project will be held at the City of Seagoville, 702 N. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159 at 3:00 PM, CDST, August 30, 2022. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Seagoville in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. The contractor must execute the contract, bonds, and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The City of Seagoville reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities.
