The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a firm, fixed price purchase order for the following: Items 001: Quantity: One hundred and seventy-four, Smith and Wesson, or equal, .45 Caliber pistol, with double action, must include three interchangeable palmswell grips in sizes small, medium and large, full size frame, tritum night sights, and must include three (3) ten-round magazines per gun. Item 002: Quantity: One hundred and seventy-four, Ten-round magazine. Item 003: Quantity: One Armorer training for the Smith and Wesson, model M & P45, on the equal weapon quoted. Note: Equals are acceptable but must include the above items as specified. Contractors submitting quotations for equals shall provide literature that provides all the details regarding the equals. Failure to provide detailed information may cause quotations to be found non-conforming.
