The shaft has numerous turned diameters, including external spline and bored inside diameter. There are also three various sized four tooth sprockets that are welded to the shaft. Welding is per MIL-S-2219, Class B, Magnetic Particle Inspection per ASTM-E 1444 and phosphate coating required. Requirements are 750 each, sprocket assemblies. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. FOB is Destination. For use on the M242 Gun. Estimated issue date is 31 March 2005.
