The purpose of this amendment is to provide the following information: RFQ-03-119 I. Change quantity from eighty (80) each to sixty (60) each. II. Revised Specifications 1. Trijicon Tritium Rifle Style Sights (front & rear on barrel), installed by Remington Arms 7. Heavy Sear Spring (Law Enforcement) 8. Heavy Magazine Spring (Law Enforcement) 9. Full Synthetic / Plastic Stock 10. No Trigger lock (Law Enforcement) 11. Modified Choke (Law Enforcement) 12. Swivel studs (standard for slings) 13. Handguard (standard) 14. Lifetime Product Service Warranty (standard) Note: Closing date has been extended to September 29, 2003 at 10:00 am EDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-03-119 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 423990 and the size standard is 100 employees. The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General (HUD-OIG), has a requirement for eighty (80) 870P Tactical Shotguns, Order Number 4925, black, 14” barrel, 12 gauge, rifle sight, parkerized finish. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on technically compliant, low price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications/Commercial Items with their offer.
