The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a solicitation on a sole source basis to Raytheon Missile System (RMS) of Tucson, AZ, P.O. Box 11337 Tucson AZ 85734-1337, for procurement of Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) production and ancillary hardware requirements, and Land Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS), in support of FY08 requirements. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for the posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. This contract action will be awarded pursuant to U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency r! equirements.
