The items to beprocured are 95 grenade launcher systems for the United States Air Force.The USAF requires 95 complete M320A1 GL systems for fielding of USAF personnelbeing deployed to theater. The M320/M320A1 grenade launcher was Type ClassifiedStandard (STD) by the US Army on 6 November 2008. These items are proprietaryto Heckler & Koch Defense. H&K is the only supplier of these specific systemsand the only supplier that can provide them to the government. Estimated issuedate of RFQ is 23 Jun 09.
