The United States Government (USG) proposes procure the Electronic Image Intensifier (EI2) that is being integrated on the Apache AH-64 aircraft. The EI2 ship set is comprised of the camera and lens assembly. The USG proposed to acquire:

EI2 Cameras, Base Lot consisting of 261 EI2 Cameras and 27 Initial Spares
Options for 27 Replenishment Spares, 63 Cameras, 79 Cameras, 24 Cameras and 1 Lot of Depot Repair Support

The USG intends to award sole source firm fixed price contract to Intevac Inc, Santa Clara, Ca under the authority and justification for other than full and open competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements.
