The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with EADS of Irvine, CA, for a one-year extension of contract N68335-07-D-0018, which is for performance based logistics support for all US Navy Jet Engine Test Instrumentation (JETI) and Shaft Engine Test Instrumentation (SETI) configurations along with applicable Test Program Sets (TPS), and includes both hardware and software support. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only source for this support as there would be an unacceptable delay of work for award to any other offer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
