The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a limited competitive basis with Wire Rope Industries, Ltd, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada, Wireco WorldGroup, Kansas City, MO, and Wirerope Works, Inc., Sunbury, PA. to procure five (5) each of 1" Diameter Wire Rope, P/N A92791-11-3000. This has been designated as a Critical Safety Item . In accordance with the current NAVAIR CSI list, there are only three (3) contractors approved to manufacture this CSI item.

A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received withing fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. Any responses should reference N68335-12-T-0351.
