The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for six (6) TACLANE-GigE Encryptor KG-175A. Only the TACLANE KG-175A will meet the requirements and this is only available through a single source.
This is anticipated to be a sole source purchase order to General Dynamics C4 Systems under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, and under authority 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.303-2(a)(12). The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 (June 2008) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 (Jan 1999) Evaluation-Commercial Items - Delivery and Price will be considered; 52.212-3 (Aug 2009) Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 (Mar 2009) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 (Apr 2010) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The a! dditional clauses cited within this clause are applicable: 52.222-50, 52.233-3, 52.233-4, 52.203-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-31, 52.232-33. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price purchase order. All sources shall submit a quote which will be evaluated. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to [email protected]. Closing date for receipt of quotes is June 28, 2010 at 2:00pm.
