Directorate of Contracting, USMA, West Point, NY intends to award on a sole source basis with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This award is a sole source Firm Fixed Price Contract to Lexis Nexis for subscription services to the Co ngressional Information Service and Index online databases utilized in the Cadet Library at the United States Military Academy. There is no solicitation available for this procurement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements receive d by 4:30 PM on 16 March 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
