Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the intent of the Government to award a sole source purchase order to Art Collections, Inc., Tulsa, OK, for a quantity of 59 matted and framed original Colorado landscape photographs, historic photographs, and artwork. The required delivery date is 30 April 2006. The requirement is for Evans Army Community Hospital, 7500 Cochrane Cirle, Fort Carson, CO 80913-4604. This is not a formal solicitation, nor is this synopsis considered a req uest for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable sou rce or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this noti ce is solely within the discretion of the Government.
