Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Directorate of Contracting Office Fort Sill, Oklahoma intends to award a SOLE SOURCE Contract to University of Oklahoma for the Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) for Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The award shall consist of the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies and equipment to run two established MAPS stations located on Fort Sill. Two years of experience is required in the field survey of birds in SW Oklahoma. Contractor must be familiar with protocol endorsed by MAPS Manual. Contractor must furnish written report by MAPS guidelines. Report shall include comparisons with studies from prior years. Contractor shall have the required federal bandin g permits. This requirement will be awarded for Base plus four (4) Option Periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 924120, size standard 500 employees. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Governmen t intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competit ive proposals. However, all proposals received within five (5) business days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon response s to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
