NA Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army – Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase ord er on a sole source basis with Oakley Inc, One Icon, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 . This effort is to provide the Government with Oakley Lightweight Assault Boots (LWAB). The Government plans on purchasing 200 pair for testing and evaluation with the option of buying up to 535 additional pair for follow-on testing. The Government is interested in testing the Oakley Lightweight Assault Boots (LWAB) as it is a commercially available boot identified as having specific design features the Government would like to e xamine with qualities such as: weight, ankle support design, EVA/TPU molding technology for shock mitigation and specific material and design outsole requirements.
