U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award to Steris Corp. a Purchase Order for the procurement of De-installation, Modification, Testing, Certification and Re-installation of a Steam Sterilizer manufactured by STERIS Corp. Subj ect sterilizer is currently warranted by STERIS Corp and if modifications are made to the sterilizer by anyone other than STERIS the warranty is void. To insure safe operation of the sterilizer the control system must be engineered and configured to perfor m all operations safely. STERIS understands the requirement and has previously provided or modified the control systems and interlocks to accomplish the desired tasks in a safe manner. The government believes that we should maintain the warranty. This is n ot a request for proposal. Responsible Vendors who can provide similar services that meet or exceed the required specifications above can submit their technical capabilities including complete technical specifications and price to the Contract Specialist, Ms. [email protected] by noon September 15, 2005. This information will be used only to determine if this requirement can be competed in the future.
