This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to SystemWare, Inc. (SWI), 6785 Business Parkway, Suite 9, Elkridge, MD, 21075-6353, using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12). This contract is to procure two 5-day SystemWare training Technical Surveillance Countermeasures School (TSCM) classes for the HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5246. The Government intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above products and services to SWI. Note: This firm is the sole recognized developer as well as sole manufacturer of this proprietary software to run their platforms. The proposed contract action is for training services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Periods of Performance are as follows: 2 6 March 2009 and 13 17 July 2009. All responses received within 5 working days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
