The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Prentiss LLC., Spartanburg, SC. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for 1,400 gallons of the piscicide Prenotox CFT Legumine 5% rotenone liquid Fish Toxicant for use in the renovation of six backwaters located on the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. Prenotox CFT Legumine Fish Toxicant is the only brand of the piscicide rotenone that uses a low-toxicity, vegetable-based carrier that is nearly free of petroleum distillates. A Determination to Solicit Sole Source has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures.
