On behalf of the U.S. Army Research Institute and in accordance with FAR subpart 6.3, the Contracting Center of Excellence intends to award a purchase order (under the simplified acquisition threshold) on a sole source basis to FSCX, Inc. The purpos e of this work is for the contactor to modify SHIELD software, that was developed by FSCX under SBIR Phase I, so that Soldiers can preset alert preferences; determine feasibility of SHIELD alerts for UAV operators, and if feasible, demonstrate the alerts. There is NO solicitation document. This notice is not a request for quotes.
