The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to issue a purchase order to the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, Alexandria, VA, for the Army Deputy Chief of Staff G-4 Banquet Program and Awards Ceremony. The U. S. Army selected this site location due to necessary security presence that will be provided on-site by the contractor. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance from 2-4 June 2008.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to th e requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this announcement (NLT 15 February 2008, 3:00 pm EST) will be considered by th e Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whet her to conduct a competitive procurement.
