The New Mexico National Guard (NMNG) is proposing to purchase a ThermoVision 3000 Multi-Sensor Thermal Imager and MS Housing to FLIR Systems, Inc., 27700A SW Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, OR 97070-8238 on a sole source basis. The NMNG currently utilizes the ThermoVision 3000 and maintaining uniformity is an integral part of mission success. It is likely that award of a contract to any other source for a comparable infrared thermal imaging system would result in substantial duplication of costs to the government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.

This is not a request for quote (RFQ) and no solicitation will be issued. Any other responsible source able to provide the supplies are encouraged to respond to this announcement by 11 September 2008, 12:00 PM MST.
