In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 5, this synopsis is posted for the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety Environmental and Enforcement (BSEE) Acquisition Operation Branch. This synopsis is to announce the Governments intent to award a Purchase Order for utility services at 381 Elden Street as a sole source to 381 Elden Street LLC/Lincoln Properties, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). There is only one source that will satisfy the Agency=BFs requirements. Specifically, the circumstances of this action are such that only one source is reasonably available to provide the required services due to the unique nature of the GSA lease agreement, #GS-11B-80407, and Occupancy Agreement, #LVA80407, with the Lessor, 381 Elden Street LLC/Lincoln Properties. BSEE anticipates awarding a T&M Purchase Order with not to exceed (NTE) of $60,000. The anticipated date of award is fifteen days after this announcement is posted with a period of performance for twelve (12) months. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This notice is not a formal solicitation. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
