This announcement is to provide notice that a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract award is anticipated, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The impending procurement is to procure the testing and evaluation of the stability of Pentavalent Botulinum Toxoid (PBT) vaccine. Emergent BioSolutions is the sole manufaturer of this vaccine. The Government is purchasing a minimum of one base year and three options. While this is not a request for proposals, responsible parties purporting the have the necessary qualifications with the ability to provide this service must submit official documentation to this fact within 10 days of this notice. Any potential respondent must have the ability to adhere to and demonstrate cGXP standards in order to conduct stability testing. See note 22.
