The Army Field Support Command (AFSC) issued a draft solicitation, W52P1J-05-R-0137, for 105mm M314A3 Illumination Cartridges in August of 2005. As a result of significant changes made to this acquisition strategy, the Government plans to host an Industry Day on 31 January 2006. The objective of this day is to promote an acquisition exchange between the government and private industry. Feedback from private industry is strongly encouraged. Representatives from AFSC, JMC, PEO-AMMO and PM-CAS will be present. The Government will present a change to the acquisition strategy and discuss a revised Statement of Work (SOW) for FY06 and out years. Presentation by the government will take approximately 2  3 hours and the remainder of the day will focus on one-on-one sessions, limited to 1 hour in length per participant. A random lot drawing will determine the order of participants and one-on-one session times. Industry Day will be held at AFSC, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-6000 in building 350, 6th Fl oor, AFSC Conference Room, on 31 January 2006 beginning at 8:00 AM CT.
