The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Minneapolis VA Medical Center (VAMC), located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Part 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23 intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for completion of construction Project Number: 618-CSI-240, Steril Processing Services (SPS) Equipment Site Preparation. An IFB is planned to be issued on or about 15 July 2025, with an award date within 60 calendar-days from bid opening date. Further details of all dates, events, and locations, including site visit and bid due date, will be available in the IFB. The Minneapolis VAMC currently has a need to upgrade and renovate the current SPS space to provide site preparation for replacement of the Steris Medivators and Cart Washers. Areas identified in the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be provided in the IFB, shall be remodeled to prepare the site for the change out of existing VA provided medical equipment (cart washers, medivators, scope cabinets, etc.) for new ones. Construction shall be completed according to the provided construction documents and specifications. The Period of Performance (PoP) for this work will be approximately 270 calendar-days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP), subject to clarification in IFB, once issued. A Notice to Proceed issuance date will be coordinated between VA and Contractor following award.
