The Contractor shall prepare and coat the entire surface of the 2,500 square foot roof of the 10th floor penthouse, Roof 36, at the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC. Roof 36 is a Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) material in deteriorating condition. The preparation of the roof shall include cleaning the area, removing or relocating the communication equipment, repairing flashing deficiencies, repairing penetration deficiencies, and all other work required for the coating to adhere properly. The coating used shall be a liquid-applied base coat and sealant; and the coating shall be polyurethane, or silicon based. Completion of this project will protect the mechanical and electrical equipment in the penthouse from water damage.
