University of Missouri Health Care is seeking proposals from qualified professional firms interested in providing the following: Taxi Transportation Services for Patients who do not require medical transport. The awarded vendor(s) will ensure that MUHC patients, who may not be able to obtain transportation on their own means, are assisted home safely and in a timely manner when discharged from facilities or attending clinic appointments. MUHC Authorized Dept Designated MUHC departments (OPX, Case Management, Missouri Psychiatric Center, or the Emergency Department) will coordinate transportation with the awarded vendor as needed. The awarded vendor will receive a Taxi Pass from the authorized department via secure email. This pass will include the passenger’s name, departure location, destination, and an authorization signature. The authorized department will also verbally inform the patient of the vendor, pick-up date, and time. Reviewed 2025-07-02
