The Contractor will provide the Department of Water Resources (DWR) a seismic velocity model for the California Central Valley. The California State Water Project (SWP) has a need for development of a velocity model for the California Central Valley. This will provide DWR with an improved understanding of vulnerabilities of the SWP and how it will perform when subjected to future earthquakes.
