REQUEST FOR BIDS Percival Creek Fish Passage Barrier Removal SUBMITTAL OF SEALED BIDS: Notice is hereby given that sealed bids shall be hand-delivered to the Public Works Department front counter, located downstairs at Tumwater City Hall, 555 Israel Road SW, Tumwater, Washington, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00:00 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025, for the Percival Creek Fish Passage Barrier Removal project. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bid deliveries other than hand-delivered (i.e. faxed, mailed or emailed) will not be accepted. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall perform all work and furnish all tools, materials, supplies, equipment, labor and other items incidental thereto necessary for the construction and completion of the work, more particularly described as the Percival Creek Fish Passage Barrier Removal project. The Project includes, without limitation, clearing and grubbing, temporary stream diversion, structural excavation, contractor designed pre-cast concrete culvert, gravity block retaining walls, storm sewer conveyance and outfall protection, HMA paving, erosion control, curb and gutter, pervious sidewalk, pavement marking, signage, utility relocation protection and replacement, full road closure, and other work; as shown on the Plans and as described in these Specifications, all in accordance with the Contract Documents (“Work”). BID DOCUMENTS: All bids shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents, which are made available through the on-line plan room at Builders Exchange of Washington at http://www.bxwa.com/bxwa_toc/pub/public.html. It is recommended that Bidders “register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda. NOTICE TO BIDDERS – TITLE VI The City of Tumwater in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
