THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY TO ANNOUNCE AN INDUSTRY DAY FOR LOWELL CREEK FLOOD DIVERSION AS FOLLOWS:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, will conduct an Industry Day to improve Industry's understanding of USACE's DESIGN-BID-BUILD, Lowell Creek Flood Diversion project, specifically for construction of the inlet structure, 18ft diameter tunnel and outlet flume located in Seward, Alaska, answer questions on the project and gain an understanding of how the contractor community can support this project.
The goal of this industry day is to:
The Industry Day presentation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 0900 - 1030 Alaska Time, meeting at the Seward Community Library and Museum located at 239 6th Avenue, Seward, AK 99664. Contractors attending will travel from there to multiple stops for a site tour, escorted by USACE personnel. A One-on-One consultation with the Government for industry feedback will be scheduled for Tuesday afternoon (1200 - 1700) for contractors in attendance. A sign up sheet will be provided at the presentation for contractors interested in participating in the one-on-one industry feedback.
A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE RELEASED PRIOR TO THIS INDUSTRY DAY NOR WILL A DRAFT SOLICITATION BE PRESENTED AT THE EVENT.
Each participant is required to submit the following information in advance of the industry day..
This information is MANDATORY to attend the meeting. Required information must be emailed to Tammy Davis at [email protected] by July 17, 2024.
Attendees will be notified prior to industry day if there are site access issues. Attendance at the industry day is voluntary and is not required to participate in the proposed acquisition. Contractors are required to secure their own lodging and rental cars for this event.
