PROJECT NUMBER: DGS C-1101-0058 Phase 1 PROJECT TITLE: Lincoln University – Center for Black Culture PROJECT LOCATION: 1501 Baltimore Pike, Lincoln University, PA 19352 This Project is advertising for PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS for design and/or engineering services. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work is intended to establish the Center for Black Culture as a dedicated space that honors the legacy of the institution while serving the wider community. Anchored in two historic campus buildings-the Bond House and the Lincoln House-and a new connecting structure, the Center will preserve and highlight key aspects of Lincoln University's history, including Horace Bond's contributions, the Underground Railroad, and the Civil Rights Movement. It will also celebrate notable alumni and scholars, all within the context of the university's historic district. Designed as a hub for cultural programming, community engagement, and scholarly exchange, the Center will foster education, inclusivity, and dialogue, inspiring future generations through the celebration of Black history and culture. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $20,000,000.00. APPLICATION DUE DATE TUESDAY, JULY 15, 2025, AT 4:30 P.M. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals.
