Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation once it is issued. The Veterans Benefits Administration anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. PROJECT TITLE: Elevator Maintenance and Repair Contract at Jackson, MS Regional Office of the Veterans Benefits Administration PROJECT SCOPE: The Contractor is required to accomplish inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, calibrating, and the performance of minor repairs to and for the Jackson VA Regional Office s four (4) elevators. The service performed will meet the current manufacturers operating performance specifications. This contract is intended to cover all services required by the Regional Office as described in this statement of work. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Veterans Affairs Regional Office VBA Jackson Regional Office 1600 E. Woodrow Wilson Ave. Jackson, MS 39216. -Support Services Division The solicitation number is 36C10D25Q0130. Specific instructions on submitting offers will be contained in the solicitation documents. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about August 8, 2025, with offers due within 30 days. The entire solicitation package, including all attachments, will be available electronically at www.sam.gov CONTRACT-OPPORTUNITIES. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This requirement will be competed with and awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contracting techniques associated with FAR Part 15 do not apply. Following receipt of quotes, the government will perform an evaluation using a comparative analysis of the quotes, in an impartial manner. The government intends to compare what has been quoted to one another to select the quote(s) that is best suited to fulfill the requirement. The evaluation factors for quotes will determine suitability. Technical, Experience and past performance when combined are more important than price. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible Vendor in accordance with FAR 9.104-1 and whose quote conforms to the solicitation, and provides the best value to the Government, price and other non-price factors considered. Since award may be made to the Vendor with other than the lowest price, price is not necessarily the determining factor. SET-ASIDE: This acquisition has been set aside for Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns. Only offers from VOSB concerns that are registered and verified in the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ at the time date set for receipt of offers shall be considered for award. Offers that are not registered shall be rejected as non-responsive and shall not be considered for the award. Offers received from concerns that are not VOSB concerns will be considered nonresponsive and shall be rejected. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is for one (1) year from the execution date of the contract with four (4) options of one (1) year each.
