Sealed bids will be received by the Walton County Board of Commissioners, 111 South Broad Street, Monroe, GA 30655 (Historic Courthouse) no later than 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 by mail or hand delivery for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the Bay Creek Church Road Milling and Road Widening Project, 2025-07. [email protected]. A bid bond or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to the Walton County Board of Commissioners. The successful bidder will be required to furnish OWNER with Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the total bid. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the Walton County Board of Commissioners named as additional insured. Contractors must also provide a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify.The Walton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Walton County.
