5/9/2025: The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) has released a new Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to procure one contract for Right-of-Way Engineering and Survey Support Services (Merced to Bakersfield ROWE II). This procurement will result in a contract with a scope of work that provides personnel and expertise to prepare Right-of-Way (ROW) appraisal maps, legal descriptions, land surveying, staking, monumentation, record maps, exhibits to support ROW acquisition and or Resolution of Necessity (RON) packages, and other required services. The geographic scope for the services will be located in the 171-mile Merced to Bakersfield segment in the Central Valley. The resulting contract will have a duration up to 4 years and not-to-exceed amount of $10 million.
