Notice of Intent to Award an 8(a) Sole Source Procurement to Ozark Dumey JV, LLC.This is a notice of intent of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, Contracting Branch to negotiate a sole source award with Ozark Dumey JV, LLC., 3067 South Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, Missouri, 63901.This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures, because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency; specifically, FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C.637(a) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8. The work consists of completing the inlet channel serving the pump station from the White River, which will allow for delivery of water to landowners. The inlet channel is approximately 1,825’ long with a 104-foot bottom width. The project will consist of (but not be limited to) excavation to establish channel grade and section, removal and placement of spoil, pertinent erosion control measures, etc. Remaining excavation depths necessary for the inlet channel are 5’-15’. Excavation activities may be dictated by river stages.3. The intended period of performance is 230 days from time of notice to proceed. The proposed action will result in a firm-fixed price contract.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction), with a Small Business size standard of $45M. The estimated value of this project is between $1M and $5M.
