The U.S. Forest Service requires deferred trail maintenance on trails across the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The project is one of the implementation projects of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) and consists of brush cutting (912.20), logging out (912.30), and drainage maintenance (920) on a total of approximately 200 miles of Wilderness and non-Wilderness trails . The Contractor shall be held responsible for all downed trees on trails within the clearing limits; there will be NO tree counting for the contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials to perform all services necessary to perform the tasks outlined in contract.
