Sealed Bids for the construction of the FY 2025 LRA LMIG for Roadway Resurfacing will be received, by Cook County Board of Commissioners, at 1200 South Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, Georgia 31620, until 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 17th, 2025, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed FY 2025 LRA LMIG for Roadway Resurfacing as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of widening and resurfacing approximately 2.30 miles of roadway and all associated measures for the complete project. Time allotted for completion of work is 90 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract close-out with 104 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.Copies of Bidding Documents for bidding purposes can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Office of the Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Cook County Board of Commissioners, located at 1200 South Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, Georgia 31620 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Upon request and receipt of the document payment indicated above, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted will be considered the prospective Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any.
