Continuous Solicitation. General Services Agency, Real Estate Division is seeking specialty-licensed contractors to perform fire protection, fire alarm or security systems inspection, maintenance and repair work (Special Services). The work is performed on an “if-and-as-needed” basis in accordance with the San Francisco Administrative Code Section 6.65 requirements. Contractors who can demonstrate experience, expertise and quality of work may be awarded a master agreement for a term not-to-exceed five years. All maintenance and repair services work shall conform to the City’s insurance, bonds, indemnity and prevailing wage requirements for public work. When work is available, at least three special service contractors will be invited to submit a competitive quotation for the work. The contractor submitting the lowest responsive quotation may be awarded the Contract Service Order (CSO) to perform the work. All special services work shall conform to the City’s insurance, bonds, indemnity and prevailing wage requirements. Contractors interested in being awarded a special services master agreement should submit a cover letter requesting a master agreement for special services with the information that demonstrates their expertise and quality of work (per the attachment). To be considered for providing services to hospitals and health care facilities, please identify experience working with Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) and any other similar health care governing agencies and provide references. 2. To be considered for providing services to locked and secure facilities, please identify experience working with the agencies such as the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department (SFSD) and provide references and documented security clearances. The security clearance requirements are listed in the attachments. 3. Contractors not qualifying for OSHPD and locked and secure facilities will not be eligible to submit quotes for those types of projects but will be eligible to submit quotes for all other projects that they otherwise qualify for. Real Estate Division will accept requests for a special services master agreement on a continuous basis but reserves the right to terminate the solicitation at any time. Contractors determined to be ineligible to be awarded a special services master agreement will be notified in writing within 60 days of their request.
