EnergIIZE (Energy Infrastructure Incentives for Zero-Emission) Commercial Vehicles is the nation’s first commercial vehicle fleet infrastructure incentive project. Funded by the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) Clean Transportation Program and implemented by CALSTART, EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles provides incentives for zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure equipment for medium- and heavy-duty (MDHD) battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles operated and domiciled in California. The Fast Track 2025 funding lane consolidates the previous EV Fast Track, Hydrogen, and EV Public Charging funding lanes into one. The Fast Track funding lane offers incentives for electric vehicle charging and/or hydrogen refueling infrastructure equipment that will support MDHD ZEV deployment. EnergIIZE Fast Track 2025 incentives support the construction of public, private, or shared MDHD ZEV charging or hydrogen fueling stations. The Fast Track 2025 Fact Sheet can be found on the Resources tab of the EnergIIZE website(link is external). Fast Track 2025 applications will be primarily scored on project readiness (Readiness Tiers), with additional points available for publicly available or shared EV charging or hydrogen fueling stations and projects that demonstrate significant community support. Recipients will be selected based on eligibility criteria outlined in detail in the Fast Track 2025 Application Materials located in the Incentive Processing Center (IPC) on the EnergIIZE website(link is external). Incentive Amount Available: $30 million External website name and link, contact information, and any additional information needed.
