The Santa Barbara County Flood Control District (District) requests proposals to analyze potential environmental effects under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the proposed conversion of two sections of an existing flood-control channel from earthen to concrete located in Santa Maria, California. The District has initially determined that a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) is the appropriate level of CEQA review. If your firm feels that a different level of CEQA review is needed, please provide an explanation and an associated proposal. The consultant shall provide environmental analysis, document preparation, and assistance in CEQA compliance throughout the development and planning of the project.
