The Project scope of work includes assessing the existing athletic field to determine the work necessary to provide design development, construction documents, bid review and construction administration to replace the existing (approx. 3.6 acres) synthetic turf field system, expand the synthetic turf system including the irrigation system to include the dirt infield (approx. 0.40 acres) for the southerly softball field, seamlessly integrate the synthetic turf into the surrounding natural grass area of the athletic field, regrade and resurface the existing basketball court, replace the existing concrete walkways and curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, replace the existing field fencing, add new public seating outside the Bonita Creek Community Center, seal coat and re-stripe the parking lot, and retrofit the existing lighting system for the park and all fields to energy efficient LED lighting. The Project area is approximately 4 acres; comprised of a full-sized soccer/football field (210-ft x 360-ft) and the adjoining softball field overlapping a corner of the soccer field, see Location Map, Attachment A. The Project includes, but is not limited to, providing landscape, hardscape, civil design drawings and details; meeting with City Staff; preparing construction specifications, plans, and estimate; modifying the existing lighting system on the field and stair lighting in the stands to convert to LED lighting system; coordinating and incorporating design features within the general project limits; bid support; and construction support.
