INVITATION TO BID 1.1 Competitive Cost Sealed Bids The City of Perry, Georgia (¿City¿) is now accepting proposals from qualified contractors for modification of the current stormwater infrastructure in a city stormwater easement. Sealed Bids for Shasta Drive Stormwater Improvements will be received until 2:00 pm on July 28, 2025, at 1211 Washington Street, Perry, GA 31069. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at said office. Any bid received after 2:00 pm on July 28, 2025, will not be considered by the Owner. Following the closing time for the receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. 1.2 Scope of Work The City of Perry, Georgia (¿City¿) is now accepting proposals from qualified contractors for modification of the current stormwater infrastructure in a city stormwater easement as shown in the map attached. The property is located at 200 and 202 Shasta Drive, Perry, GA 31069. Bids should include all labor and material costs for the following requirements: Existing pipe is a 24¿ concrete pipe that transitions to an open ditch for the remainder of the drainage area. 1. Install an inlet grate, flush mounted at the current headwall termination point, to assist with surface drainage collection. 2. Extend 24¿ pipe with HDPE pipe for the remainder of the drainage conveyance and install a junction box terminating towards the regional pond with a flared end section. 3. Fine grade the entire work site/easement to provide adequate cover over the pipe extension, provide natural sheet flow of surface drainage within the easement, and meet surrounding grade without rills, dips, or uneven areas. 4. Access for construction purposes will be provided through city property and easements only. Maps and diagrams will be provided to the awarded contractor for reference and use. 5.
