Description of Work:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract that consists of Maintenance dredging under this contract.


Contract work consists of maintenance dredging in the Brigantine Inlet to Great Egg Harbor Inlet, Atlantic County, New Jersey:
a. Placing approximately 200,000 cubic yards of beachfill, along the Atlantic Ocean coastline in the City of Brigantine, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
b. Placing additional quantities of sand in the City of Brigantine based on project needs and availability of funding. Contract will include 5 options for sand quantities of 25,000 cy, 50,000 cy, 75,000 cy, 150,000 cy, and 300,000 cy.
c. the construction or repair of pedestrian, vehicle, and handicap dune crossovers; planting dune grass; and installing sand fencing.


The period of performance for the base contract will be 90 calendar days for base work. Estimated cost range of the project is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000.
