Project Description The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering (PE) design for replacement of the existing Ten Mile Creek Bridge No. 2 located near the Snake River in Eastern Asotin County. Asotin County may include future supplemental tasks in the consultant agreement for right-of-way and construction management services once PE is complete. The existing structure is a one-span, 30-foot-long bridge that was built in 1972. The bridge carries County Road 2850 over Ten Mile Creek. The 53-year-old structure is nearing the end of its life cycle and is exhibiting signs of deterioration and distress. The substructure of the bridge has been subject to significant past scour, including undermining the pile caps at the abutments and distressing of the steel piles beneath the pile cap. Due to the loss of axial capacity, the structure is currently posted for all legal loads except AASHTO 3. Please submit all proposal materials (PDF format preferred) via e-mail to [email protected] no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time on July 15, 2025. Submittals will not be accepted after that time and date.
