U.S. Army Network Technical Exchange Meeting 7: Delivering the Unified Network

Soldier experiences, Capability Set 25 design/experimentation, standards, unified network operations, command post modernization

ANNOUNCEMENT:

The U.S. Army Network Cross-Functional Team (N-CFT) and the Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), will host Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) 7 on Thursday, December 2, in Nashville, TN (with option for virtual participation).

TEM 7 will focus on Capability Set 25 development efforts and highlight aspects of Soldier and operational feedback to date. User experiences and current operational environments have shown that capability set efforts should be transport agnostic and data centric, and offer security architecture approaches and standards to provide interoperability, accessibility, and identity management. Additionally, in support of the Unified Network strategy, the Army is focused on integration and convergence of the tactical network with the strategic network.

TOPICS:

As with previous TEMs, TEM 7 will be structured to inform industry’s research and development efforts to align with Capability Set 25 and 27+ design goals. Topical focus areas of this event will include: Infantry, SFAC, MDTF, Stryker and Armor formation user feedback; experimentation strategy forecast; standards implementation, including defined CMOSS roadmap/program office responsibilities and integration points; command post modernization; and network operations modernization.

PLEASE NOTE: TEM 7 will not present specific white paper topics. However, the discussions may inform future white paper solicitations.

This event is meant for a technical audience, to include systems engineers, architecture experts, data experts, and integrators. Each session will offer an opportunity for an in-depth discussion between audience members, Army network technical experts, and user community representatives. This will enable vendors, in an open session, to ask questions for clarification, operational understanding, and technical understanding. Each topical session will have a moderated panel that will field questions from attendees.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this technical exchange meeting will be conducted as a hybrid event, meaning participants may choose whether to attend in person (paid registration) or virtually (no cost).

Registration is required for this event whether you are participating in-person or virtually.
