VIA Metropolitan Transit (VIA) seeks to establish a contract for Armored Car Services for multiple locations within the City of San Antonio, Texas. The Contractor shall pick up and receive from VIA, or its designated agent, sealed or locked shipments containing currency, coins, checks, securities, and other valuables, and to transport and deliver the same, in like condition, to VIA’s depository bank vault location. Bids received after the above time and date shall not be considered, except as provided in the section in the IFB entitled “Late Submission.” The bid shall be in a sealed envelope properly labeled on the outside with the project name and number and the bid opening date. Unless specifically authorized in writing by VIA, no telegraphic or tele-faxed bids will be considered.
