Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Northport VA Medical Center, is seeking sources that can provide fifteen (15) CoulMed Case Carts that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics with a brand name or equal product for the Northport VA Medical Center: Fifteen (15) COULMED CASE CARTS STERILE PROCESSING DEPARTMENT, NORTHPORT VA MEDICAL CENTER, NY BACKGROUND: The Sterile processing department in Northport VA medical center, New York wishes to purchase 15 CouldMed Case Carts due to old inventory, and to meet the demands of an increased Operating Room workload. Lack of available of big case cart to accommodate the amount of instrument requires for the increase robotic case. This has been causing delays in Operating room cases. Case cart SPD using now doesn t go through the decontamination door causing SPS Technician to come out of the Decontamination room to wipe the Case Cart which is unacceptable due to potential Staff and patient safety. The department needs additional carts to maintain a higher rate of availability to ensure that all instruments for surgical procedures are being contained in a case cart for Safe transport to and from the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
